Beat the heat with a free Slurpee from 7-Eleven today

You're going to need a way to beat the heat today, so why not do it with a free Slurpee?

In celebration of 7-Eleven day, which is of course today because it's July 11 (7/11), the convenience store will be giving away 900,000 Slurpees across the country.

At each of its 590 Canadian stores, the company will be giving away 1,500 small birthday Slurpees to celebrate the day.

The general manager of 7-Eleven Canada, Dough Rosencrans, says this year’s birthday is a celebration of the store’s loyal customers from coast to coast.

“At this year’s event, the cup will feature photos of our Slurpee fans,” said Rosencrans. “We will offer exclusive Slurpee flavours for the summer, and share close to 900,000 free Slurpee drinks.”
