McDonald's introduces festive cups and will sell any size coffee for $1 for the next month

McDonald’s has entered the festive cup game.

Taking a page out of Starbucks’ book, McDonald’s introduced their new lineup of holiday cups, as well as their expanded line of holiday drinks and treats, on Tuesday.

New to the menu are gingerbread blondies and gluten-free peppermint brownies, as well as the peppermint mocha, peppermint hot chocolate and crème brûlée latte.

If you order those drinks, or any hot McCafé beverage, you’ll get them in one of McDonald’s new four-uniquely designed holiday cups, complete with bright red lids.

If you’re more of a cold drink person in the winter, iced frappés are being offered year-round for the first time.

“Canadians are at the heart of every cup of McCafé served and this holiday season, our festive offering is our way of giving back to them as a small token of appreciation for their continued loyalty,” said McCafé’s head of marketing, Catherine Crozier.

Another way the fast food giant is giving back to its customers is by offering any size of coffee for only $1 between November 13th and December 10th.

“Our festive lineup has something for everyone to get excited about,” added Crozier. “From our bright red lids, to our $1 Any Size Premium Roast coffee offer.”

The McCafé holiday menu will run until the end of the calendar year.
