If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select and why?
Russell Peters because he uses his talent for making people laugh and take a second look at all cultures. He is helping change the way people view certain cultures, and opening people’s minds. Plus he is hilarious.
If you were to receive any existing public award, what award would you like to win?
Business Excellence Award because they recognize businesses that excel within the local Kamloops community, and my first priority is always the community I live in. This is where I raise my family, and I want to leave the best mark on Kamloops I can for them.
If you could spend a day with any historical figure, who would you choose and why?
I would have to say Gandhi. His message to the world was one of peace and understanding. Hard work and humility. I could learn so much just from one day with him.
Who inspires you?
My family, and especially my father, who immigrated here from India and worked endless years to provide a good life for me and my family. They have taught me all I know about running a successful business. He never gave up and still spends his days working for CN Rail. As well as my beautiful stepdaughters, who inspire me to be a better person every day!
What are three things on your bucket list?
1. Visit Thailand
2. Charity work in a 3rd world country
3. Get my recreational pilot's licence

Birth of a child.
What are you passionate about?
My family, my children and wife, and being successful at my job.
What has been your favourite day of your life, up to this point?
The day I met my wife.

The growth of my business so far.
Where is your favourite place to dine in Kamloops? What do you like about it?
Hoja Mongolian Grill. Always fresh and the highest quality of food. I love the selection they offer.
What is your favourite activity or event in Kamloops?
Going to the movies or the beach with my family and my dog.

What does your business/organization do?
We are a local full service moving company. We can do in town or long haul moves, office moves, full packing services, Green GO-GO Box rentals, move in and move out cleans, as well as commercial cleaning.

What is your mission?
To provide our customers with the highest quality of service and satisfaction. To be known as running an efficient and reputable local business. And to be as environmentally friendly as possible with our cleaning and box rentals.
If you could achieve one thing within your field, what would it be?
To turn my business into a large franchise.
Where do you want your business/organization to be in five years?
To continue to grow and become the largest moving company in the interior.

What would you like to say to your employees/volunteers?
I would say thank you for sticking with us through our first few years. The hours are long, days are hot or cold, and the work isn’t easy, but they all still show up at work with smiles on their faces.
How does your business/organization impact the community?
We help people to the best of our ability. We do charity work for schools and local non-profits, as well as senior moves with discounts.
If you were trapped in an elevator with several wealthy investors from any field, which field would you want them to be experts in? What would you say to them/talk about?
I would want them to be experts in logistics or transportation. I would ask them the ins and outs of the business, what the best lesson they ever learned was, and how they balanced work and life.
If I could change one thing about Kamloops, it would be:
Have more variety of new businesses, which would help grow Kamloops.

The friendly people, the beautiful mountains and rivers and lakes. How supportive people are of other local small businesses.
