Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kamloops?
I was born in North Vancouver and have lived in Kamloops since 2005.
What is your favourite local store in Kamloops and why?
Oronge Boardshop without a doubt, the staff and products are the best around!
Describe yourself in one word.
Passionate.
If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
Bali - 100%. If you're a student at TRU right now you know that it's midterm season.... and you know that also means wanting to do anything other than study for midterms. A getaway to somewhere hot with my camera would be my favourite thing right now.
What is your favourite activity in Kamloops?
Snowboarding at Sun Peaks in the winter and taking photo's/flying my drone in the summer!
What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
Realizing things wont be handed to me in life.
Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
All the sports teams I was involved with over the years!
Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
This winter I will be volunteering at Sun Peaks once a week for the season and I can't wait!
If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
The fact that there isn't snow on the mountains year round - I'm sure you all thinks I'm nuts! I would love to see snow 12 months a year.
Where would you sneak away to in Kamloops to spend some time alone?
Any of the scenic lookouts Kamloops has to offer.
Where would you like to see positive change in Kamloops and why?
I would love to see more night life, night markets, food truck festivals, anything to attract people to downtown later in the evening.
What do you think makes Kamloops great?
I love the wide variety of landscapes that Kamloops has.
What are 3 things on your bucket list?
- Snowboard in Japan with a bunch of the Guys
- Travel for months at a time living in a Van with only the essentials and my camera
- Get the opportunity to travel the world making content

Why did you get into/start this business?
I initially just loved going out and taking photo's. After years of shooting for fun, I realized that I truly loved creating high quality content. Always wanting to be my own boss has made me find my own path in turning my passion into my career.
What is the goal of your business?
To be able to create high quality content for a living.
What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?
Finding balance between what needs to be done and what I want to do.
What do you always find yourself saying?
What you do says more about you than what you say.
Tell us your best piece of life advice.
Do what you love - because no matter what it is, you can turn it into your career.
If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
This is a tough one, I have so many people that I look up to and would kill to meet and talk to in person. If I have to pick one single person to spend a whole day with though, it would probably have to be my boy Halldor Helgason, look him up and you will understand why.
Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
To support the people in our city and support our country and economy.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Recently I've teamed up with the Twisted Goat Coffee - a local company in town. I'll be doing photography and content creation with them and Im super excited!
