Meet the Lostboys. They're a local music group that originated in the spring of 2018. These guys are all about making music getting lost.
Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kamloops?
The group originated in Kamloops in spring 2018.
Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
Our team and local musicians. We enjoy creating music and content together.
Describe yourself in one word.
If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
We would love to go play a show in St. Paulo Brazil. They are very passionate about music culture.
What is your favourite activity in Kamloops?
What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
Talis accidentally backed into Diego's car once.
What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
All the support we received when we sold out our first show at the Coast Hotel and Conference Center in September 2018.
Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
Talis: Nailing a flute solo in an elementary school talent show.
Diego: Moving from Switzerland to Canada.
Brandon: Learning to play the Trumpet.
Tyler: Going to basketball camps in the summer.
Gray: Playing for Team Canada in baseball.
Where do you volunteer or give back to the community?
We collaborate and work with other local artists. We also help develop aspiring artists to find their voice and release their music for the first time. We take a lot of pride in helping to build the music scene in Kamloops.
If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
Less negativity towards people following their dreams. We also wish that Mac Miller would still be alive, he is a huge inspiration to everyone on our team.
Where would you sneak away to in Kamloops to spend some time alone?
Where would you like to see positive change in Kamloops and why?
We would like to see positive growth in the music scene in Kamloops. Our town has a lot of potential to bring in artists from around the world.
What do you think makes Kamloops great?
There are many talented and passionate artists, musicians, athletes, and business owners in Kamloops.

To help build a music scene in Kamloops.

We all have a musical background and we created the group to grow as musicians.

Support and grow the local music scene.

There will always be people who want you to fail and give up on your dreams. Don't ever let negativity hold you back. Always continue improving and working hard.

Tyler: Demar Derozen.
Gray: My Mom.
Brandon: My daughter, Harper.
Talis: Dave Grohl.
Diego: Dr. Dre.
Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
To grow the community!
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Selling out our first show at the Coast Hotel and Conference Center in September 2018, and making to b100 with our song "Malibu."
