Meet Stacey, she is originally from Kamloops, and although she moved away she is happy to be back. Stacey is a professional financial advisor in Kamloops. As a mother first, Stacey empathize's with her clients to provide them with the best service possible.
Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
My brother because we talk about everything! We can go from fun or silly then get into really serious conversations and back again without flinching.
What is your favourite local store in Kamloops and why?
Bicycle Cafe because they have the best selection of downhill mountain bike clothes and accessories.

Driven
If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
Morocco so that I can experience their culture, shop in their markets, and eat, eat, eat!
What is your favourite activity in Kamloops?
Biking!
What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
Oh my, there are too many, to sum up just one :)
What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
Living in Japan had so many inspiring moments of growth and experiences. In recent years, having 2 children in 2 years has been very motivating and inspiring to be the best role model that I can.
Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
Riding my bike up and down the street at 6 a.m. while my Dad was having coffee on the front steps of our house. There was a moment of true bliss and freedom that I had never felt before. I'll never forget it.
Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
I sat on the board for the Women's Resource Group Society but had to set down as my commitment to my young family is first. However, every year my company donates 12 turkeys and all the fixings for 12 dinners to the Kamloops Food Bank on Thanksgiving and again at Christmas time.
If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
I'd love to see a worldwide tree planting initiative. More trees for everyone...everywhere!
Where would you sneak away to in Kamloops to spend some time alone?
Riverside Park
Where would you like to see positive change in Kamloops and why?
Fewer cars, more bike lanes!

The people, hands down.

Why did you get into/start this business?
Because I wanted to provide my clients with better options than what I could offer them while working at a bank.
What is the goal of your business?
To provide my clients with the very best rates, advice, and service at all times.
What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?
The balance between having a family very young and running a business.

If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
Michelle Obama. She is dynamic, accomplished, and probably has a lot of amazing stories!
Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
Because by shopping locally, I am supporting another family just like mine.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Teaching myself Japanese. Also, recently getting my mortgage broker's license through UBC while VERY pregnant!
