In October, Mike Edgette made a discovery that blew the minds of people everywhere.
His discovery was that the official KFC Twitter account only followed 11 people and there was a significance to the 11.
.@KFC follows 11 people.

Those 11 people? 5 Spice Girls and 6 guys named Herb.
11 Herbs & Spices. I need time to process this.
The 11 people that KFC follows are six people named Herb and the five Spice Girls.
In other words, that’s 11 herbs and spices, which of course is a reference to Colonel Sanders’ top secret recipe for fried chicken.
As a reward for making the discovery, KFC delivered in the best possible way.
The fast-food company commissioned an epic painting of the Sioux Falls, South Dakota man and Colonel sharing a special moment.
The painting shows the iconic Colonel piggybacking Edgette through a magical landscape with wild animals looking on in awe.
Dreams DO come true. #GiddyUpColonel

Of course, Edgette is chomping on some KFC fried chicken in the painting.
There's some speculation that the entire thing was a marketing stunt from KFC and in today's day and age that's entirely possible.
Either way, it's a world class painting.
