PHOTOS: Celebrities share their awkward teen photos to raise money for hurricane relief

No one is immune from the awkward teen photo.

Everyone has that embarrassing throwback, or maybe even a few of them, hidden away in a photo album in their mom’s basement.

Whether you were rocking braces, acne or some wire rimmed glasses that went out in the 1980s, it’s a photo you want to stay hidden away.

There aren’t many reasons to find these photos and share them online, but doing it to raise money for hurricane relief would certainly convince most to share.

That’s exactly what’s happening on Twitter right now, after Nick Kroll and Stephen Colbert came up with the idea on the Late Show on Wednesday.

Kroll was promoting his new show Big Mouth, which is about puberty, so he challenged celebrities to post their awkward teenage photos online.

The #PuberMe challenge was born and now celebrities and average Joes alike are sharing their most embarrassing teenage moment to raise money for a good cause.

For every photo shared online under the #PuberMe hashtag, Colbert is donating $1,000 for every celebrity that shares a #PuberMe photo.

Here are some of the best that have come in so far!
