Adorable Sloth Gets Stuck Trying to Cross the Road

An adorable and scared little sloth was recently spotted stuck in the middle of the road in Quevedo, Ecuador.

The sloth was trying to cross the road when it became stuck and scared and clung on for dear life to a traffic barrier. The speedy cars frightened the sloth and the police and traffic control were called in to rescue it.

Once the sloth was taken away from the road it was looked over by a veterinarian, who determined the furry creature was in good health. It was returned to its natural habitat.

During the whole ordeal the adorable creature looks like it has a smile on its face, but it was clearly scared of everything going on around it. Thankfully it was rescued and returned to its home, and it hopefully doesn’t try to cross the busy road again during rush hour!
