This is the most popular beach in Kamloops. So if you are looking for lots of activity, we suggest going here.
It’s a nice walking distance from downtown which makes it the perfect spot for a last minute beach day.
There is a nice swimming area, sandy beach, a playground, water park, tennis courts and lots more.
This is where the North and South Thompson meet.
This beach is one of the largest beaches during the summers in Kamloops.
It’s dog-friendly which makes it the perfect place to go with the family.
The soft sand is ideal to play any sport so be sure to bring a Frisbee!
Located in Adams Lake Marine Provincial Park, Spillman Beaches is the perfect spot for those who want a little adventure before the relaxation.
The beach can be found easily through clearly marked trails and maps.
Since the road has been fixed, more and more people are flocking to this destination for some away time.
It’s also a great place to launch a kayak or a canoe, so bring some water activities. Even if it’s just a floatie!
This beach is a bit of a drive but if you’re looking for a day trip it’s perfect!
The lake is about 15-20 minutes away from Sun Peaks and it’s a huge destination for recreational activities year-round.
The beach itself is about two kilometres long and is quite shallow in many places.
It may not be crystal clear, but it is surrounded by wilderness and some amazing views.
Located on the South Thompson River, this beach is one of the only beaches that encourages furry friends.
This beach is also a nice walking distance from downtown which makes it relatively popular.
There are change rooms, washrooms, and public sitting areas.
This beach also has a boat launch in case you get the need for speed!
This is definitely the place to be if you’re looking to take part in any type of water activity.
Home to over 100 boat slips, a fuel dock and moto-sport rentals, this is the one-stop-shop for all adrenaline junkies.
The beach is open to everyone but it does cost $10 to park a car.
