Many people are angry that more wasn’t done to apprehend a woman who allegedly kicked a man’s dog in Burnaby over the weekend.
The video, posted to YouTube be BrainCandy Studio, doesn’t show the kicking itself, but it does show the aftermath.
“Walking my dog down the street by Brentwood Mall when this woman comes up out of nowhere and kicks my dog hard in the ribs, making her yelp and cry,” says the video’s description. “Video starts where I pull out my phone to start filming her and she assaults me, the whole while claiming I am attacking her.”
While you don’t see the woman kick the dog, you see her hitting the man filming numerous times, as well as grabbing at the dog’s leash.
She also accuses him of assaulting her and asks him “are you going to hit me” numerous times.
The video also shows another woman who was walking her dog with the man that is filming, who is seen telling the alleged dog-kicker to “get lost.”
Eventually, another man steps in to try and produce a peaceful resolution and eventually all parties walk away.
According to news sources in Vancouver, police are now investigating the incident.
