Chalk this one up as something you have to see to believe.
Three contestants won a combined $80,000 in less than five minutes on Friday’s episode of The Price Is Right simply from spinning the big wheel.
For those who don’t watch the show, the wheel segment sees all three contestant from one half of the show spinning the giant wheel twice.
The goal is to get the highest total without going over $1, with the winner moving on to the Showcase Showdown.
If anyone gets exactly $1 as their total for one or two spins, they win $1,000 and get the chance to spin one more time for $10,000.
To celebrate Drew Carey’s 10th year as host of the show, those totals have been upped to $10,000 for hitting $1 once, and another $25,000 if you can hit $1 on your bonus spin.
On Friday, the unbelievable happened as all three contestants hit $1 and won themselves $10,000.
As if that wasn’t crazy enough, two of the three hit $1 again with their bonus spin and earned themselves another $25,000.
Two contestants won $35,000 and the third took home the initial $10,000 for a total of $80,000 in winnings, shattering the previous record for winning on the Big Wheel.
