There have been a lot of classic Carpool Karaokes, but the latest could easily be considered the best.
Sir Paul McCartney joined James Corden for the latest episode of the hit show and it was hard not to smile the entire time.
McCartney joins Corden in Liverpool and they almost immediately head to Penny Lane for an adorable trip down memory lane.
The former Beatle then gets a little emotional sharing the story of the origin of “Let It Be” before they make another pit stop at 20 Forthlin Rd., McCartney’s childhood home.
Corden gets the full tour with some incredible and within minutes there are fans gathered outside the home trying to catch a glimpse of McCartney.
Once leaving the house, they drive through streets littered with fans to get to an old pub where the musician used to play and surprise the patrons with a little treat.
Around 20 people got the most intimate McCartney show you could ever ask for, hearing hits like “A Hard Days Night” and “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da.”
The pub then opens its doors to dozens of screaming fans outside, who join in on the fun.
The mini concert and the episode of Carpool Karaoke ends with an emotional rendition of “Hey Jude” and it absolutely leaves you wanting more.
