Edmonton’s Ice Castle has finally opened, and it’s already sold out.
The 27,200 tonne castle has taken months to make turning icicles into this frozen masterpiece, fit for Queen Elsa.
Opening day for the castle was Wednesday, which saw a sold-out crowd exploring the chilly structure. Thursday tickets have also completely sold out.
The first ever Ice Castle was built in Alpine Utah.
Brent Christensen built the ice cave for his daughter, and the rest is history when it comes to the Utah-based company Ice Castles, who have partnered with the 2016 Silver Skate Festival and the City of Edmonton to bring this to Canada.
The castle is located in Hawrelak Park in Edmonton and you can buy future tickets online.
