A woman from Ontario is dealing with the health repercussions of getting her eyeball tattooed and now, according to doctors, may lose her sight.
Catt Gallinger first posted about her eyeball tattoo on September 20th, claiming it was done three weeks earlier by Eric Brown.
“As it stands, I will have to see a specialist and am at risk of being blind if it doesn’t get corrected,” Gallinger wrote on a Facebook post. “This was caused by undiluted ink, over injection, not enough/smaller injection sights.”
As the days and updates go on, Gallinger’s eye gets visibly worse and her eyesight is not improving.
She’s seen multiple eye specialists and is now looking at surgery to fix the issue, but the eye remains swollen and purple for now.
Gallinger says she’s sharing her story so publicly to try and prevent anyone else from making her mistake and attempting to get an eye tattoo.
