Tim Hortons is no longer Canada’s favourite coffee shop.
In fact, it’s not even in the top three.
Maclean’s launched their new coffee ranker tool last Monday and through the first week, 1,500 people have already voted.
People rank the 15 national coffee shops from top to bottom, with the first place rank getting 15 points, second place getting 14 and so forth.
Although it’s early in the results stage, Tim Hortons didn’t even crack the podium and currently sits in fourth place.
McDonald’s is number one on the list with 19,494 points, more than 1,000 points more than the runner-up.
Fittingly, it’s Second Cup sits in second place with 18,456, with Starbucks not far behind with 18,100 points so far.
There’s a fairly big gap between third place Starbucks and fourth place Tim Hortons, as the classic Canadian brand is nearly 2,000 points behind.
