There was a lot of buzz during Saturday night’s Stanley Cup Final broadcast about the 50/50 jackpot at the Edmonton Oilers, and rightfully so.
The jackpot seemingly rose by $1 million every few minutes during game four and ended up at more than $16 million by the time all things were said and done.
And in the end, the lucky winner was Anthony Pullishy who took home a hair over $8 million on a night where the Oilers won 8-1 to keep their Cup dreams alive.
Over THIRTEEN million?! 🤯💰

But Pullishy was far from the biggest winner in Canada over the weekend, as a pair of massive lottery jackpots were won on Friday and Saturday nights.
On Friday, it was a $55-million Lotto Max jackpot that was claimed by a lucky ticket holder in Ontario.
Twenty-four hours later, the Lotto 6/49 draw also produced a new Canadian multi-millionaire, as someone from the Prairies claimed the $66-million gold ball jackpot.
There were also two $2.5-million winners produced by the Lotto 6/49 classic draw on Saturday, while the Friday night Lotto Max draw produced one Maxmillions winner of $1 million.
Neither winner has come forward yet and both have a full year to get their affairs in order as desired before claiming their life-changing prize.
