A pair of popular rewards programs will be merging in the new year.
Starting on February 1st, the PC Plus and Shoppers Optimum programs will become the PC Optimum program.
“It’s the rewards program unlike any other with great offers tailored just for you on the things you buy most,” reads a statement from PC Optimum.

When the new program launches in February, points from both programs will automatically be converted into PC Optimum points, at full value.
PC Points will be simply converted to PC Optimum points at a ratio of 1:1.
It gets a little more confusing with the conversion of Shoppers Optimum points, they’ll be converted into their monetary value and then into PC Optimum points.
“For example, if you have 22,000 Shoppers Optimum points, which is $30 in value, you will have $30 in PC Optimum points,” explains the PC Optimum website, further outlining that $30 in PC Optimum reward value is equal to 30,000 PC Optimum points.
You can check out the conversion chart below or click this link to use the conversion points calculator and find out what will happen to your points.
Customers are advised to hold onto their Shoppers Optimum and PC Plus cards until they’ve been successfully linked to a new PC Optimum account.
That will happen the first time you shop at a participating Loblaw retailer after the switch.
You can also begin the process by downloading the app or creating an online account to link the points from your current cards.
