Canadians are being warned to immediately stop using a trio of products that have been recalled for a variety of reasons.
Among the recalled products is a RYOBI-branded cordless 24” hedge trimmer.
The hedge trimmer blade can unexpectedly turn on after pressing the safety or trigger control individually, whereas it is supposed to activate when both controls are pressed simultaneously.
The recall notice involves trimmers that were made between March 2021 and June 2024 and have a green and black handle with an orange blade.
As of May 27, the company has received one report of a finger laceration in Canada. In the US, there have been 15 reported injuries.

Next up on the recall list is the Bugaboo Giraffe High Chair, which is being called back because of a fall hazard.
When an infant is seated in the chair, the legs of the chair can detach from the frame if the screws connecting the legs were not properly tightened during assembly.
There have been no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada, but there have been nine reports of minor injuries in the US.

Also being recalled are Yamaha Corporation PA-300C AC Power Adaptors.
The issue is with the DC plug creating an abnormal amount of heat, which may lead to melting, smoking or ignition.
As of May 27, the company has received one report of an incident and no injuries in Canada.
