Peter Olsen has worked in professional photography for over 17 years.
“I’ve been fascinated by photography most of my life. For me it’s the perfect marriage of technology and creativity,” said Olsen.
“What started out as a hobby many years ago has turned into a small business, serving clients from close to home, throughout British Columbia and beyond.
He is the founder of Olsen Imaging in Kamloops. He specializes in business, event, architectural, industrial, on-location portraits, aerial and lifestyle photography.
“Apart from my aim to create unique, professional and memorable images, the greatest joy comes from meeting interesting people from all walks of life,” he says.
“Even though our heritage and traditions may vastly differ, I find that photography is a common thread that weaves all of us together. Through compelling imagery, we have far more in common than how we differ.”
Olsen also has a stock image website, olsenphotography.ca, that contains over 15,000 photos of the Thompson and Okanagan regions, and scenes from across BC. All the images are also available for licensing.
