Il Mercato has one of the best beef carpaccio appies in the valley, not to mention spicy garlic shrimp and mouth watering tiramisu. Kids are more than welcome, they receive a ball of pizza dough to pass the time upon request!
Work off the carbs on one of our favourite hikes in the valley, Mount Boucherie. This 5.57 km hike switchbacks to the top for a 360 degree view of Kelowna and West Kelowna. The trailhead begins only 9 minutes from your stay at The Cove so you can head straight for a well-earned hot tub afterwards.
There are several family-friendly spots to add to your itinerary like Off The Grid Winery whose goats are named after the characters from “Friends”, the Gellatly Nut Farm, and our favourite spot for pastries in the morning, Annie’s Beach Cafe at The Frind Winery.
Annie’s Beach Cafe has indoor and outdoor seating with the outdoor seating being beach front. The kids can throw sticks in the water while you enjoy peace and quiet in one of their new cabanas or walking along the dock. The pastries are out of this world so pair the chocolate croissant with a lakeview and you’ll literally be asking yourself, “Is this real life?”

Also located only minutes from the resort, you will dine overlooking the golf course, lake, and forested areas where we enjoyed watching a family of deer graze for their supper.
19 Okanagan is a place for fun cocktails, soaking up the sun on the patio, and enjoying an Okanagan-inspired menu. I am crazy about their crispy chicken sandwich with honey bourbon slaw and sriracha aioli!
