Pleasure Pools Plus Kamloops has over 50 years of experience serving the Thompson Okanagan region.
As co-owners of the business, Len Jorgensen and Sari Everard are dedicated to providing safe and efficient products for people to enjoy.
“We’re here to serve the community, and we’re proud to build leisure in backyards,” Jorgensen says. “Seeing a family with small kids who are excited about having a pool is what keeps me going.”
In their retail store, Pleasure Pools Plus sells everything anyone could ever need for their pool or hot tub.
Some of their products include chemicals, cleaning equipment, water resistant bluetooth speakers, drinking glassware, floaties, steps, handrails, solar blankets and LED lights.
Pleasure Pools Plus is also proud to represent H2O Spas, Sundance Spas and Cal Spas, which are three quality spa manufacturers.
“We have a full service department that looks after delivery and maintenance,” Jorgensen adds. “And we have a construction crew that builds and installs pools, so we cover everything from start to finish.”
With their top quality service, Pleasure Pools Plus has maintained many clients for over 10 years.
“It’s always wonderful when new clients come in through word of mouth,” Jorgensen says.
Pleasure Pools Plus is a family-oriented establishment where everyone is welcome.
“We are very friendly and accommodating to people, and if there is ever a problem, we sort it out as best we can,” Jorgensen explains. “We definitely work with the client more than other companies do.”
Whether it’s with customers or staff members, Pleasure Pools Plus treats everyone like family.
“I think that’s what sets us apart,” Jorgensen adds.
The Kamloops business also has a competitive advantage, allowing customers to save on costs for all Pleasure Pools Plus products and services.
In addition, they believe their clients should be swimming in their new pool or relaxing in their new hot tub, so they have partnered with FinanceIt to provide payment plans.
“We want you to be able to afford your backyard oasis,” Jorgensen says.
It’s also important to Jorgensen and Everard to give back to the community.
In 2019 and 2022, Pleasure Pools Plus gave away a hot tub to help support the Kamloops Food Bank, K97.5 Toys for Kids and the Kamloops Hospice Association.
“To enter to win the hot tubs, people had to make donations to each one,” Jorgensen explains. “We as a company also donate $4,000 each year to the Kamloops Hospice Association.”
Furthermore, Pleasure Pools Plus supports the Kamloops Venom lacrosse team and sponsors local softball.
“We want to look after the Kamloops community.”
