North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un, has responded to US President Donald Trump's threat to “totally destroy” the country of North Korea.
The official Korean Central News Agency issued a statement from the leader in response to a UN speech that Trump made where he threatens to take action against the regime.
During President Trump’s speech, he referred to Kim Jong Un as “rocket man” and said that he “is on a suicide mission for himself and his regime.”
The statement issued by Kim Jong Un threatens to make the U.S. “pay dearly” for Trump’s comments.
“Whatever Trump might have expected, he will face results beyond his expectation,” reads the statement. “I will surely and definitely tame the mentally deranged U. S. dotard with fire."
