Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding party has a Canadian contingent

There’s going to be a Canadian flavour to the Royal Wedding this weekend.

Prince Harry’s page boys and Meghan Markle’s bridesmaids were announced today and among them are three Canadian children from the same family.

Ivy Mulroney, 4, will be involved as one of Markle’s bridesmaids.

On the other side of the alter, both Brian Mulroney, 7, and John Mulroney, 7, will be page boys for Prince Harry.

All three are kids of Canadian TV host, Ben Mulroney, and stylist, Jessica Mulroney, who is one of Markle’s best friends.

They’re also grandchildren of former Canadian prime minister, Brian Mulroney, who served as the country’s leader for nearly a decade in the 1980s and 90s.

Brian Jr. and John will be joined by Prince George, 4, and Harry’s godson Jasper Dyer, 6, as the other page boys, while Prince William serves as Harry’s best man.

Markle doesn’t have a maid of honour, but rather six bridesmaids who are all children.

Alongside Ivy will be Princess Charlotte, 3, a pair of Markle’s goddaughters and a pair of Harry’s goddaughters.

The Royal Wedding takes place on Saturday at St. George’s Chapel in the United Kingdom.
