Mark Ruffalo accidentally livestreamed part of the Thor: Ragnarok premiere

Mark Ruffalo might be the first person to bootleg his own movie.

The actor plays the Hulk in the latest superhero movie, Thor: Ragnarok, which premiered in Hollywood on Wednesday night.

Ruffalo was streaming the red carpet festivities to his fans via Instagram Live, a common practice in today’s day and age.

The only issue is that he forgot to turn off the livestream when he entered the theatre, sliding the still recording phone into his pocket.

As the movie began, those watching the all black livestream started to hear the film’s audio.

The stream continued for the first 15 minutes of the film, with the audio and audience reactions clearly audible.

It’s not clear whether Ruffalo noticed his mistake and shut it off or whether it cut off on its own.

On Thursday, the actor poked fun at his mistake on social media saying “I felt bad you weren’t there with me. I snuck you in. In my pocket.”

Thor: Ragnarok hits Canadian theatres on November 3rd.
