Hundreds of thousands of window coverings have been recalled after they were found to pose a choking hazard to young children.
Various products in the Home Decorators Collection and HDG corded window coverings are affected.
They were sold by Home Depot.
More than 425,000 units have been affected by the recall.
Health Canada warned customers to immediately stop using the coverings and contact the manufacturer, Nien Made Enterprise, for instructions.
“The products can release small parts, specifically clips that are attached to the top slat of the blinds below the headrail, that present a choking hazard to young children,” the department added.

Separately, just under 6,000 Smartlux Manual Open Roller Shade (No-Guard Mechanism) Blinds have also been recalled.
Health Canada said customers should immediately stop using the products and contact Les Entreprises Smartlux Inc. for instructions.
“Young children may pull looped cords around their neck, or become entangled in the cords, causing a strangulation hazard and even death,” Health Canada explained.
No injuries or incidents have been reported in connection with any of the above products.
Health Canada urged Canadians to use cordless window coverings.
