'Immediately' stop using these kids' outfits sold by Costco, Health Canada warns

Thousands of boys’ outfits sold at Costco stores have been recalled due to the possibility they could contain mould.

Health Canada said the “Nautica Boys 2 Piece Set” should be returned to Costco for a full refund.

Anyone in possession of the items should “immediately stop” using them, the federal department explained.

“Mould may pose a health risk to individuals with compromised immune systems, damaged lungs or an allergy to mould,” Health Canada’s bulletin explains.

There has been one reported incident involving the outfits.

They were sold between Aug. 24 and Aug. 30 of this year, according to Health Canada. Costco reported sales of 5,301 of the outfits.

They were made in China and imported by a US company.
