A man who helped take down a terrorist in London last weekend is set to be awarded with Poland’s highest medal. The Polish man suffered multiple stab wounds while he heroically took on the terrorist, who was finally subdued on London Bridge. Lukasz, the hero in question, used a narwhal tusk he grabbed from the wall to take down the terrorist.

Starting in 2020, Canada’s top men’s and women’s curling teams will be playing for the same kind of prize money. Curling Canada announced on Sunday that the Tim Hortons Brier and Scotties Tournament of Hearts would have the same prize purses, which is $300,000.

Typhoon Kammuri is headed for the Philippines and it’s resulted in the evacuation of thousands of residents. It’s expected to make landfall over the next day or two and it’ll bring heavy rains, dangerous flooding and strong winds with it. The storm was showing off wind speeds around 140 km/h on Sunday night.
