Investigators continue to search for answers, and a motive, after a mass shooting near Los Angeles claimed 10 lives this weekend. The suspect has been identified as Huu Can Tran, a 72-year-old man who took his own life once surrounded by police on Sunday.
Investigators in Monterey Park, California, are still searching for the motive of a gunman who killed 10 people and injured 10 others during a shooting inside a ballroom dance studio.

One person is dead after an avalanche near Valemount, located on the eastern border of BC. Police confirmed the fatality on Sunday, noting that the victim was the passenger on a snowmobile. The driver of the snowmobile was able to escape with their life. Avalanche Canada says this is the latest example of this year’s unstable snowpack.
