Immigration Minister Marc Miller has said "not everyone is welcome" in Canada amid discussions about how the country can deal with an expected northward flow of illegal migrants from the US in reaction to Donald Trump's plan to oversee a major deportation program. It comes as a new poll finds that the majority of Canadians – 56 per cent – want Canada to take in fewer refugees.

The head of the Anglican Church has resigned after a damning report into a child abuser associated with the institution.
