English pop star Morrissey has cancelled two of his shows in the US after allegedly being targeted with a death threat by an Ottawa man. The 26-year-old man from the nation's capital has been bailed after he was alleged to have threatened to shoot the former Smiths singer in a post on left-wing social media site Bluesky.

A member of the Indian government has reacted furiously to Donald Trump's decision to attach a $100,000 fee to H-1B visas, which are dominated by Indians, claiming the US is "afraid of our talent."
