Air Canada love story leads to stunning Valentine’s Day surprise

It’s a story so cute, you couldn’t make it up.

Keddy Pavlik, who grew up in Kelowna and now lives in Victoria, was on her way home from backpacking Europe.

Seated and waiting for her final flight home, Ryan Molle happened to have the seat next to Pavlik.

"We still joke that she had enough Tim Hortons to feed a family of 12," laughed boyfriend Molle. "We made casual conversation about some mutual friends in Kelowna and when the plane landed she said add me on Facebook."

Fast forward two years and the couple suddenly preparing for a trip to Paris courtesy of Air Canada.

"For our two-year anniversary on Jan. 25, Keddy posted to Instagram talking about how we met on the Air Canada flight," explained Molle. "They got wind of the post and messaged Keddy and said something like stay tuned!"

Twenty days later, the couple woke on Valentine's Day to an extra special surprise from the airline.

Love is in the air and these two are living proof. On Nov. 15, 2015 flight AC8065 boarded: she was aisle, he was window — the rest is history (she still has the electronic boarding pass saved in her e-wallet)! We’ve got a sweet surprise for these lovebirds – check out our Story for more. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! ❤ 📸: @jordanadickson

Air Canada surprised the couple with a free trip to Paris!

Both Pavlik, 26, and Molle, 29, have visited France's capital, but only briefly.

"We both love travelling so we're really excited to dive into some of the culture," said Molle.

Let this story be proof that love is literally in the air!
