A man who spent a month taking photographs of his girlfriend while hiding an engagement ring under her nose has published the hilarious collection online.
Edi Okoro, who lives in England, took more than 20 snaps with his girlfriend and the ring in increasingly daring positions.
At one point, he even put the ring in her hand while she was sleeping.
Other comical – and terrifying – photographs show the ring on her back, behind a bag right next to her head and in front of a telescope she was looking through.
Okoro explained that he wanted to propose in a way that reflected the couple's relationship.
He labelled himself a “spontaneous improviser”.
But because of that, he knew his girlfriend would be on to him at all times.
He carried the ring – which he called “my precious” – with him wherever he went, hoping to find the right moment to propose.
At one point, though, his girlfriend nearly spotted the ring while he was staring at it.
This gave him the idea of photographing the ring right under her nose in the most amusing scenarios he could think up.
“This escalated quickly into trying to get as many photos of Cally with the ring without her knowing,” he wrote.
“Yes she had no idea what I was doing in these photos!”
But did she say yes?
“We did end up getting engaged, and no I didn’t get caught… but how I did it is a story for another time,” Okoro later added.
