The Royal Canadian Mint has released a glow-in-the-dark coin that shows a flying saucer crashing into the sea.
It depicts a UFO sighting reported off Shag Harbour in Nova Scotia back in 1967.
The coin, which has a face value of $20, is being sold by the Mint for $129.95.
More than 95% of the 4,000 coins have already been sold.
To see the flying saucer – which is being stared at by awed fisherman – it is necessary to shine a black-light flashlight on the coin.
The flashlight is included with the coin.
“This coin brings attention to a story that many people don't know about,” Laurie Wickens, eyewitness and president of the Shag Harbour UFO Incident Society, said.
“The Shag Harbour Incident is one of the best government-documented UFO crashes – even today, the case remains open and unsolved.”
The coin, which was designed by Pandora Young, comes with a certificate from the Mint.
On the obverse is Queen Elizabeth II.
