The historic O’Keefe Ranch in Vernon is preparing to once again put on a unique and immersive production of A Christmas Carol this holiday season.
“As audiences walk through the Ranch's historical buildings, they'll follow the tale of redemption as Scrooge is visited by the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future,” a release about the production explains.
However, any kind of production doesn’t go on without actors and that’s why O’Keefe Ranch is hosting auditions this weekend.
No acting experience or preparation is needed for the audition process.
They’ll take place at the O’Keefe Ranch Museum from 2-4 pm on Saturday, Oct. 12, with the following roles up for grabs:
Once the audition process is finished and roles are handed out, all cast members will receive an honorarium for their participation.
The production runs from Nov. 27 until Dec. 15, with three shows a day from Wednesday through Sunday.
“Rehearsal dates will be set soon, and the show will involve both filmed and live performances,” the O’Keefe Ranch release adds. “Double casting is also possible to assist with scheduling.”
