A logging truck driver died on Monday while trying to tow a log truck that had spun out on an icy road near Kamloops.
The BC Forest Safety Council issued an alert about the death Wednesday.
According to DriveBC, the incident happened around 4:15 am on Monday.

According to the Council’s statement, the fatality happened near Logan Lake and is the second harvesting fatality of the year.
“We extend our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased and our sympathies to all those affected by this incident,” the statement said.
The Council said WorkSafeBC and the BC Coroners Service were investigating the incident.
Due to the ongoing investigation, details are limited and contributing factors to the incident are not available.
