(UPDATE: Jan. 16 @ 1:15 pm) – Shortly after the RCMP issued a missing persons report for a pair of people last seen in early January, both people have been found.
The missing persons report was issued at about 12:05 pm and police confirmed that Jerrika Hill-Jackson, 27, and Dakota Jack, 24, were located “safe.”
(Original story: Jan. 16 @ 12:21 pm) – The BC RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a pair of missing people from the Williams Lake area.
On Tuesday, Mounties issued a plea for public information about Jerrika Hill-Jackson, who was reported missing on Saturday, Jan. 13.
Hill-Jackson was last seen in Williams Lake on Jan. 9, but is believed to possibly be in Prince George or Chetwynd, police say.
She is described as:
Caucasian female
27 years
5 ft 4 in (163 cm)
161 lbs (73 kg)
Blonde hair
Green eyes
Also on Tuesday, Mounties issued a missing persons report for 24-year-old Dakota Jack who was also reported missing on Jan. 13.
Jack was last seen in Williams Lake on Jan. 9, and is also believed to possibly be in Prince George or Chetwynd.
He is described as:
Indigenous male
24 years
5 ft 11 in (180 cm)
141 lbs (64 kg)
Black hair
Brown eyes
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Dakota Jack is urged to contact their local police, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
Police do not explicitly link these two people together, however, their RCMP file numbers are the same.
