If you were hoping for a family ski trip over spring break but are having trouble making the finances work, Revelstoke may be the place for you.
Revelstoke Mountain Resort has announced that kids aged 12 and under can ski for free from March 15 to April 21 when they're accompanied by an adult.
Spring break in British Columbia begins on March 17, which means the mountain will be a cheaper option for families over the break and for any other end-of-season ski trips.
“With legendary powder, incredible terrain for all skill levels, and a lineup of fun events, the resort offers something for everyone this spring,” notes a release from the resort.
“Whether your kids are taking their first turns on the Cupcake Carpet, progressing on the Stellar Chair or enjoying the most vertical in North America from the top of the Stoke Chair, Revelstoke Mountain Resort promises memories that will last a lifetime.”
If you do end up bringing the family to Revelstoke over spring break, there are plenty of ski camps available for kids aged six to 12.
The resort says they’re led by experienced instructors, cater to various skill levels and provide a fun mix of coaching, skill-building and on-mountain exploration.
