(Original story: June 1 @ 11:45 am) - The BC RCMP’s Southeast District Major Crime Unit (MCU) has taken over a missing persons investigation from the Trail RCMP.
According to police, Mark Konrad’s last confirmed interaction was with RCMP officers in late June 2025.

Investigators are now turning to the public in hopes of piecing together the puzzle around the Trail resident’s “suspicious disappearance.”
Police provided the following description of Konrad:
Anyone who may have seen Konrad over the past year, or has any information about him, his disappearance or his whereabouts, is urged to contact the MCU’s tip line at 1-877-987-8477.
