(UDATE: May 23 @ 10 am) – The BC RCMP say the woman reported missing on May 22 has been found.
The Revelstoke RCMP said Sheila Sanders, 62, is “safe.”
“The RCMP thanks the media and public for their assistance,” a news release says.
(Original story @ May 23 @ 1:30 pm) – Mounties in the BC Interior are seeking tips on a woman who went missing over the May long weekend.
Sheila Marie Sanders was last seen on Sunday, May 19.
A release from the Revelstoke RCMP says she may be travelling toward Golden in her grey 2011 Chevrolet Equinox with BC license plate: LK554G.
“Police are very concerned for her health and well-being,” the release says.
Sanders is described as:
Caucasian female;
62 years;
5 ft 5 in (165 cm);
150 lbs (68 kg);
blonde hair;
blue eyes;
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Sheila Marie Sanders is asked to contact their local police, the release says.
