The summer season at Revelstoke Mountain Resort will kick off on June 4.
That’s when the popular Pipe Mountain Coaster will open for the season.
All other summer activities, including the Aerial Adventure Park and Upper Gondola-accessed hiking, sightseeing and mountain biking, are scheduled to open June 19.
There’s plenty more to do at Revelstoke in the summer as well, including the Woodchuk nine-hole disc golf course located near the village base.
Revelstoke’s 47 kilometres of mountain biking trails are arguably the largest draw for outdoor enthusiasts during the summer though.
“This summer, a total of five new lift-accessed bike trails are being added to the network including three black trails, a blue single track trail, and a four-and-a-half kilometre green trail for beginners,” explained a release from the resort.
“New this summer, Revelstoke Mountain Resort has also introduced a Mountain Bike Vertical Card which provides guests with three pre-loaded days of bike access for just $119.”
People also have the option to buy a Mountain Bike Season Pass from the resort, which is on sale at a discount rate until June 15.
Of course, COVID-19 protocols will be in place at Revelstoke, at least to start the summer.
That includes mandatory face coverings in all lineups, indoor spaces and while using attractions like the gondola, Pipe Mountain Coaster, Aerial Adventure Park and axe throwing.
Physical distancing measures will also be implemented resort-wide and guests are required to stick in their own bubble and avoid close contact with other guests and staff.
