Another 50 towns and cities across British Columbia can now access Rogers’ 5G network.
The company announced the expansion today, which includes a number of locations in the BC Interior.
Lake Country, Merritt, Peachland, Summerland and West Kelowna are all among the list of locations where Rogers customers can now access the province’s largest 5G network.
“We are excited that 5G is now available to even more customers across British Columbia fueling productivity and innovation and helping to drive our economy forward,” said Rick Sellers, President of BC Region, Rogers Communications.
“5G is the next technological evolution that will transform the way we live and work, and strong digital infrastructure will be essential as we move forward and reset the competitive landscape in our province.”
With 5G, you can expect near-instantaneous responsiveness on your devices, which opens up a world of possibilities for the user.
Rogers also says that the industry’s investment in 5G networks is expected to contribute around $40 billion to Canada’s economy and 250,000 new permanent jobs by 2026.
