The most expensive house in BC’s Southern Interior is once again a sprawling property in Lake Country, for a second year in a row.
According to BC Assessments released on Tuesday, the house located at 12990 Pixton Rd. in the Central Okanagan has an assessed value of $16,987,000 as of July 1, 2023.
That’s down from the $17.336 million assessment from the year before.
According to BC Assessments, the home was built in 2009 and has seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. It sits on .86 acres and is just over 13,200 square feet.
The property is currently listed for a cool $18,895,000 by Chamberlain Property Group.
Although it tops the list in the Interior, the Pixton Road property is ranked as number 181 on the list of top 500 most expensive homes in BC.
Eighteen homes in the Southern Interior have a property value of over $10 million with the majority located in Lake Country, Kelowna and West Kelowna.
There is one exception, however, a property in Coldstream is listed for $10,867,000.
Most of the properties on the Top 100 list are located in the Central Okanagan with the exception of four Coldstream properties, three houses in Invermere, two in Summerland and one house each in Fernie and Vernon.

As for the rest of BC, the top spot was once again secured by LuluLemon founder Chip Wilson’s Vancouver property. This is the third year in a row the house was ranked that high.
The house, located at 3085 Point Grey Rd Vancouver, was valued at $81,765,000, a significant jump from the 2023 value of $74.08 million.
