The defenseman has played for his hometown Calgary Royals of the Alberta Elite hockey League U18 program this season.
He has six goals and 11 assists in 29 games.
Brunicke also represented Team Alberta at the WHL Cup in October 2021 and the 6’2”, 170 lbs d-man put up a pair of helpers in five games.
Can’t wait to get started with such an amazing organization. Just wanted to thank everyone that has helped me get to this point in my career! 🟠🔵 https://t.co/g56XnqGNAs

“We are excited to welcome Harrison and his family to the Blazers organization,” said Shaun Clouston, Blazers GM.
“We look forward to watching Harrison grow and develop over the coming years in Kamloops.”
Brunicke was the first defenseman taken by the Blazers in the 2021 WHL draft and joins forward Ashton Tait and goaltender Jesse Sanche as players signed by Kamloops from that draft class.
