13 flights added to BCCDC coronavirus exposure list over weekend

The British Columbia Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) has added another 13 flights to its list of potential coronavirus exposures.

Those flights are:

  • Apr 29: Air Canada 123, Toronto to Vancouver
  • Apr 29: Air Canada/Jazz8618, Vancouver to Winnipeg
  • Apr 29: WestJet 3171, Calgary to Comox
  • Apr 28: Air Canada 215, Calgary to Vancouver
  • Apr 26: WestJet 3101,Calgary to Fort St. John
  • Apr 25: Flair Airlines 8102, Toronto to Vancouver
  • April 25, Flair 8102, Toronto to Vancouver
  • April 25, WestJet112, Vancouver to Calgary
  • April 22, Lufthansa 492, Frankfurt to Vancouver
  • April 21, Air Canada 116, Vancouver to Toronto
  • Apr 19: Air Canada 103, Toronto to Vancouver
  • Apr 18: Air Canada 234, Vancouver to Edmonton
  • Apr 17: Air Canada 45, Delhi to Vancouver

Passengers on the affected flights are urged to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 for 14 days.

Anyone who has travelled outside of Canada is required to self-isolate and monitor for symptoms for 14 days, the BCCDC explained.

One bus trip was added to the list on Friday as well, as there may have been an exposure on the April 23 Adventure Charters trip from Surrey to Prince George, which stopped in Cache Creek and Williams Lake.
