Another 37 cases of COVID-19 were identified in the BC Interior over the past 24 hours.
It brings the region to 12,871 total cases since the start of the pandemic, with 335 currently active.
There are 14 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in the BC Interior and eight of them are in critical care.
No new deaths were reported today, which means Interior Health’s pandemic death toll remains at 153.
Another 10,392 people received a vaccination from the health authority over the past 24 hours, with a large number of those being second doses.
IH declared the outbreak at Kelowna General Hospital over today, which leaves just one active outbreak at Spring Valley long-term care home.
That outbreak still has 48 cases linked to it, including 36 residents, and is responsible for the most recent COVID-19 death in the BC Interior, which upped its death toll to 12.
