IH also provided an update on certain outbreaks, including the one at the RIH Patient Care Tower construction site in Kamloops.

There are now 13 cases linked to the outbreak, but the additional cases aren’t new and are instead being attributed to ongoing contact tracing.

No additional cases have been linked to the three long-term care facility outbreaks in Kelowna, Kamloops or Penticton.

One more case has been identified in the Salmo community cluster of cases, bringing the total up to 24.
