Ever wondered what a large cannabis grow operation looks like behind closed doors?
BC-based cannabis producer Tantalus Labs is offering virtual tours of its state of the art greenhouse in Maple Ridge, B.C. and the facility is impressive.
In August, Tantalus officially acquired its sales license from Health Canada and has already begun mailing orders under the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulation.
To fill those orders, Tantalus' is running its massive facility that produces 10,000 kg of cannabis per year and does so using 90% less electricity than traditional cannabis cultivation.
The greenhouse facilities also stores 5.3 million litres of rainwater storage, runs air circulation on a seven-minute cycle and uses greenhouse style roofs to allow maximum sunlight, a distinct method in the industrial cannabis production.
Tantalus is also allowing the public to take an exclusive tour inside of its state-of-the-art greenhouses via an engaging 360-degree Google Street View tour here.
