One of the world’s most famous and beloved rock bands will be hitting the road in 2025.
AC/DC has announced its first tour in nine years, a 13-date North American run that will see the Australian group playing some of the biggest stadiums on the continent.
That includes the 54,500-seat BC Place in Vancouver on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
It should be a hot ticket in Vancouver, as the next closest shows on AC/DC’s tour are more than 2,000 kilometres away in Pasadena or Las Vegas.
The Power Up North American Tour is named for the band’s 2020 album POWER UP, which hit No. 1 in 21 countries.
POWER UP ended the year on Rolling Stone and Consequence of Sound’s top albums of the year lists, and earned the legendary rock group a trio of Grammy nominations.
While AC/DC’s 2025 shows will feature a few songs from their newest album, you’ll surely hear classic hits like “Thunderstruck,” “Highway to Hell,” “Back In Black,” “Hells Bells” and “Thunderstruck” as well.
The current touring version of AC/DC is made up of Angus Young, Brian Johnson, Stevie Young, Matt Laug and Chris Chaney, as Phil Rudd and Cliff Williams no longer tour with the band.
Tickets to see AC/DC in Vancouver next spring go on sale through Live Nation at noon on Friday, Dec. 6.
