It’s certainly an exciting day for Arcade Fire fans.
The popular alternative rock band dropped their sixth studio album “We” today, their first album release in nearly five years.
But that’s not all, as Arcare Fire also announced a world tour to support the new record, which will begin in Europe in late August.
They will cross the pond in October and play 13 shows in North America, which includes a few tempting options for British Columbians fans of the band.
Arcade Fire will play at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Friday, Nov. 25, with stops in Seattle three days earlier and Edmonton two days later as other realistic options to attend.
To make things even more exciting, Beck will be joining them for the North American dates and he’ll be performing an acoustic set as the opening act.
If you manage to snag a ticket to one of those November shows, you’ll likely hear plenty of tunes from the new album that was released today.
That includes the popular singles “The Lightning I,” “The Lightning II” and “Unconditional I (Lookout Kid).”
But don’t worry, the band that never disappoints live will also be playing some of the classics you’ve grown to love over the years.
You can expect to dance along to hits from Funeral, Neon Bible, The Suburbs, Reflektor and Everything Now when you see the Montreal band live this fall.
